This waterproof lithium-ion rechargeable battery is designed for use on all Xenide HID searchlights including the EP models which require the sealed lithium battery for hazardous locations for use in Class 1, Division 1 hazardous environments. Lithium-ion batteries hold more power than standard alkaline or metal hydride batteries of similar size making these rechargeable lithium batteries the ideal power source for your handheld searchlight.

These rechargeable lithium batteries do not require cycling and will always take a full charge regardless of how short the run time. Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are best to keep fully charged if your light is to be stored for long periods of time and it is best to use them at least every 2-3 months to keep the lithium content active.

When fully charged remove the 2600 mAh Explosion Proof Battery from the charger to avoid the possibility of a power surge tripping the safety circuit. When not using the battery is important to make sure the contacts do not come in contact with metal such as keys or coins or a short circuit of the battery is possible.

It is important to make sure when using the Xenide lithium-ion waterproof rechargeable battery that the seals are clean and free of dirt particles and the rubber seals are not cracked, otherwise, leaks into the electronics can occur damaging your light.
